Benefits Realisation Management

Cambiel provides Benefits Management and facilitation on individual programmes and projects from the initiation and planning stage to realisation of the objectives and benefits.

Although ideally adopted at inception, this service is applicable at any stage in the lifecycle of a programme or project and involves working with stakeholders to:

  • Identify and confirm project and/or programme objectives
  • Identify the benefit/s
  • Establish benefit profiles
    • What is the benefit?
    • Which business objective does the benefit support?
    • When is the benefit expected to accrue?
    • On what enablers or changes does the benefit rely?
    • Which stakeholders own the benefit and which receive it?
    • How is it measured and tracked?
  • Create Benefit Realisation Plans containing all the detail required to ensure that the benefits are delivered

The process helps to: ·

  • Clarify the purpose and desired outcomes from the programme or project
  • Achieve stakeholder buy-in and motivation to participate in business change
  • Monitor and track programme or project performance
  • Ensure ownership of and accountability for benefits

Where relevant Cambiel also works with clients to produce ‘Benefits Strategies’ for large programmes outlining how Benefits Management may be applied to the investment.  Our approach is entirely consistent with all existing "best practice" guidance, including that published by the OGC in the UK.
